My First House
I bought a house! It took about a month of painting and fixing, but it is done and I'm in love. I linked most of the products I bought and included the paint colors I chose beneath each picture. If you have any questions, leave a comment below!
I found a plain doormat and spray painted letters to create this great welcome mat for my friends.
I found this great shoe storage unit from IKEA that made the perfect entry table for my small foyer because it is only about 8" deep.
I think my favorite part of the home is the hardwood floors and natural light. I was lucky enough to find a home with plantation shutters already installed, which add so much character.
My search for the perfect bar stools lasted a while. Then I found these stools from World Market and they are great. I realized that if anything is teal and tufted, I buy it. On my shopping spree there, I also bought this adorable measuring set. They also have a light blue option, which is what I bought.
All of the walls are Sherwin Williams Agreeable Gray.
This headboard was one of my favorite purchases. It is the perfect beige color, was easy to assemble, and was surprisingly in budget.
I also replaced the ceiling fan with a great Hunter 52" fan. The exact link for the headboard and ceiling fan are below from Amazon.
Wall color is Sherwin Williams Tidewater.
I also invested in all new interior doors and hardware. I went with a craftsman style and hired a great contractor to make the changes for me.
For my guest room, I used Sherwin Williams Agreeable Gray, again, and chose all white linens. I also replaced the bathroom vanity with this great option from Lowes, and had a contractor install it.
For my office, I found an old desk and painted it white. I found this great chair from Joss & Main on sale and fluffy pillows from Home Goods.
Wall Color is Sherwin Williams Nearly Peach.
My sun room is also a favorite for me. I found this Studio Day Bed from World Market and I love it. It's the perfect addition to sit out there on a cool fall day with coffee and a candle.
I scraped the popcorn from the sun room ceilings and replaced the ceiling fan. I chose a Palm Cove fan from Amazon and it's the perfect size for the room.
My patio has a good amount of space. I'm still shopping for a picnic table of some kind, but I did find these great patio lights that have held up well so far. It is 48 feet which turned out to be the perfect length, and they hung easily from my fence and roof. The exact product I bought is linked to Amazon below.
